Cycle 7 of the Show Me Challenge concluded on September 29, 2023. Eight finalist teams presented their ideas to a panel of judges made up of state government senior leaders. The presentations were high in creativity and identified practical ways to solve challenges and how we can work better together.

Operation Show Me Brighter Futures

Show Me MO Sirens is a project that will focus on enhancing the safety of not only the guests and employees in the parks but also the surrounding communities by getting storm sirens installed in state parks where no sirens can be heard and cell phone reception may not be reliable enough to adequately warn of severe weather.

The Giving Citizen’s Options team proposes to create a new process where the communications and documents for Administrative Hearings can be sent completely electronically vs. physical mail to better serve Missouri citizens and provide cost savings to the State.

We will promote career exploration to youth ages 15 through 18 in the custody of Children’s Division and the Division of Youth Services through the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Career Exploration program (CEP) to encourage positive career options for those youth, both in the private sector and the military, prior to aging out.
