Nearly 90 teams from across Missouri pitched their ideas to State leaders for how to make our government better in the first-ever Show Me Challenge competition. A panel of judges narrowed the submissions down to 11 finalists. The judges considered the pitches’ quality, practicality, and potential for impact.

Finalist teams presented their ideas to the judges in a rapid-fire setting their ideas at The Show Me Challenge Finals on January 28, 2019. Teams had five minutes to present and five minutes to take questions. Check out a video of the Show Me Challenge final competition:

Finalists’ ideas ranged from ways to improve citizen service to cutting bureaucratic processes. We were really encouraged by the work of all the teams.

AgStop, a web portal and accompanying smartphone application, will recreate the Missouri citizen experience by allowing users to page through a short list of prompts to submit regulatory forms, identify new marketing opportunities and discover financial options available to them through the Missouri Department of Agriculture – in one stop.

Keep on Truckin' is focused on reducing Commercial Driver License transaction errors that occur in the license offices which have a negative impact on our citizens in the transportation industry.

Mobile Assessment are a simple technology solution to an outdated government process and implementation of mobile assessments will yield more efficient operations, costs savings, and greatly improved customer service for over 38,000 Missourians.
